The Promise Land exists to provide a safe, stable, and faith-filled home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Malambanyama, Zambia.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a home where children experience belonging, hope, and stability — a place that empowers them to grow into confident, capable young adults. The Promise Land is dedicated to planting deep roots in Malambanyama — not just as a shelter, but as a beacon of hope for the entire community.

We believe every child deserves:

  • A safe bed to sleep in

  • A community to call family

  • The opportunity to pursue education

  • The dignity of being cared for and love

What We Do

The Promise Land is growing from the ground up. As we prepare to build a safe, stable home for vulnerable children, we’re laying the foundation through planning, partnerships, and long-term solutions that will soon transform vision into reality.

  • We are laying the groundwork for a year-round home where children with nowhere else to turn will soon have a stable, welcoming place to stay. Construction plans are underway, and each step brings us closer to creating a refuge for vulnerable children.

  • As we move toward opening our doors, we are developing the systems and partnerships needed to provide nutritious meals, clean water, clothing, medical care, and emotional support. Our goal is to ensure every child’s essential needs are met the moment they arrive.

  • We are designing a home built on love, faith, and structure—a place where children will one day be nurtured, supported, and encouraged to grow. Our vision is to offer the stability and dignity that every child deserves.

  • We are actively partnering with local educators, caregivers, and community leaders to establish a network of support long before the home is complete. These relationships will help us ensure each child receives consistent care and connection from day one.

  • From clean water and reliable power to sustainable living and educational opportunities, we are building for the future. Every project we begin now moves us closer to a home that will serve not just today’s children, but generations to come.
